MINING TECHNOLOGY / A NEW PERSPECTIVE
Read the machine.
Rethink
the mission.
A changing machine changes the next decision. WeXplor explores mining equipment intelligence through AQ Sense within AQFM.

The next decision
01 / THE APPROACH
A signal is only
the beginning.
Temperature. Vibration. Energy. A machine tells part of the story. The task, the terrain and the uncertainty tell the rest.
Our starting point is a focused question: how could condition evidence help an engineer judge what a machine should do next?
INPUT / EQUIPMENT
Read the condition.
Connect available signals with operating context and evidence quality.
INTERPRET / AQ SENSE
Examine the limit.
Explore what changing condition means for a particular task.
CONTEXT / AQFM
Consider the move.
Make options, uncertainty and the need for human review visible.
Proposed architecture. Initial evaluations would use offline or read-only data.
02 / THE MINING LAB
Change the condition.
Follow the response.
A mine is a system in motion. Explore the WeXplor mining lab with synthetic haul trucks, a loader and survey drones.
Introduce dust, communications loss, rockfall or equipment condition changes. Watch the scripted fleet and recovery behavior.

02 / CHALLENGE

03 / APPLICATIONS
One machine.
A consequential question.
01
Haulage. Under changing condition.
What evidence would help an engineer assess the next loaded cycle?
FIRST EVALUATION
What an evaluation needs
Start with timestamped condition signals, load and duty-cycle context, maintenance events and engineer-reviewed outcomes. Compare usefulness with existing alarms.
02
Electric equipment. A changing margin.
How could energy availability and machine condition inform task planning?
APPLICATION TO EXPLORE
What an evaluation needs
Review recorded energy, temperature, charging and duty-cycle context for one equipment class. Range or battery-life predictions would need separate validation.
03
Inspection robotics. A mission with limits.
How might a robot’s own condition influence its inspection task?
PARTNER-LED EXPLORATION
What an evaluation needs
Begin with an OEM or robotics partner interface and controlled testing. Communications, recovery and operational safety require separate engineering.
04 / COMPANY & EVIDENCE
A mining focus.
An engineering
foundation.
WeXplor is an early-stage mining technology concept exploring how machine condition could inform the next operating decision.
AQ Sense is the proposed machine self-awareness component within AQFM. We are exploring where that connection could matter to mining teams, equipment manufacturers and integration partners.
What is demonstrated today?
The browser-based mining illustration and its scripted responses. It demonstrates an interaction concept, rather than measured diagnostic accuracy, autonomous operation or mine deployment.
What needs to be established?
Equipment data access, interface compatibility, performance against current practice and a bounded evaluation plan. No product readiness, mining customer, certification or savings result is claimed.
05 / START WITH THE REAL PROBLEM
Bring a machine.
Bring a question.
Tell us about the equipment, the operating decision and the signals you can access. We’ll start with technical fit.
Define the decision → review the evidence → scope an evaluation.
